"In a span of three days, I saw four soldiers fight, and lose their lives in combat.
A lot of people like to say that they were fighting for their country...(But) there
is more to it than that...These soldier died so that their brothers next to them
could live."

How We Are Making Difference
FREEDOM IS NOT FREE has identified a series of needs that
are unique to the
community of our wounded heroes, their families
and the families
of the fatally wounded.
In an effort to assist in addressing these needs,
we have
established a number of programs targeted to responding to them. |

|
Sports, Education and
Life Enrichment Camps The camp program incorporates the services
of professional athletes and coaches as well as mental health professionals. They
will teach sports skills while offering targeted educational content, open forum
discussions and youth development activities to the surviving children of our fallen
heroes and the children of our wounded troops.

Homes for Our Heroes
Experience and research have shown that the needs of our injured service members
spike dramatically upon their return to their own homes owing to the physical and
financial burdens that arise from their newly "disabled" conditions.

Mentorship Programs
The Discharged Service Member Mentorship and the Mentor and Pal Programs
serve the unique needs of two vital communities: wounded heroes with life, education
and professional decisions to weigh; and the surviving children of our fallen heroes.

Partnerships
FREEDOM IS NOT FREE is proud to collaborate with companies and individuals
dedicated to the fulfillment of our mission. Jets for Vets, a program initiated
by Executive Wings, and Jay Kopelman, New York Times Bestselling Author, have taken
the initiative to make a difference in the lives of our heroes.
