HOMES FOR OUR HEROES
Experience and research have shown that the needs of our
injured service members do not diminish when they are deemed capable of returning
to their own homes. If anything, their needs surge owing to the physical and financial
burdens that arise from their newly "disabled" conditions.
Something as simple as getting in and out of the shower, opening and closing a manual
garage door or getting up and down a flight of stairs can become a seemingly insurmountable
challenge
FREEDOM IS NOT FREE is currently partnering with other non-profits, civic organizations
and private enterprise to provide wounded veterans with specially adapted homes
and remodeling services thereby providing timely and functional
